Home Living

As I’m currently on disability leave from my regular job, I’ve decided to focus on things I can control in my life at this moment. My main focus has been to redecorate and organize my new home. I moved in March to the southside of the city after living in the downtown area for nearly twenty years. It’s been a HUGE change for me. An entire lifestyle change. And I’m making the most of the time I have at home.

In between therapy sessions, physio therapy, doctor’s appointments and many days of rest – I’m trying to come up with low budget and disability friendly activities that I can do.

I’ve suffered from hypermobility all of my life but it has come to a point that the disease is severely impacting my daily life. I can’t work full time. It’s hard for me to get out of bed somedays. So, whatever I can do to make my home “livable” and cozy – that’s my main priority right now.

I love writing about these projects and will be sharing progress with you.
