Monday coffee means Monday goal planning

It’s Monday morning, and I am up before 11:00 am. Amazing. I actually feel pretty good. I woke up at 8:30 am thanks to my young and annoying neighbours who feel the need to hold their conversations in the hallway. It’s one of the reasons I’m moving out of this place. But I have my instant coffee. And instead of a bagel, I’m eating leftover sushi – because why not. It’s so good.

My eldest sister and her husband took me out last night to celebrate my birthday. It was the first social outing I’ve had in months. This pandemic is still going on strong where I live and isolation measures are still in place. We wore masks to and from the restaurant as well. But we enjoyed the dinner and I enjoyed being spoiled. It was good to be with people again.

I even dyed my hair for the occasion. The color was dark brown but it’s really dark and I like it. It was a much needed change as the grey was taking over my head.

This is going to be a busy week. I have to sign a rental lease this week. So, I’ve reached out to my favorite properties and am trying to schedule viewings. It’s getting real. While I’m excited for a change, I’m terrified. It’s so much work. And so much to do in the next few weeks.

I’ve already started packing and organizing to give things away. Now that I’ve expanded to the south side, my priorities are finding a place with a fitness centre. My number one condo also has a swimming pool and it’s south central.

My sister convinced me last night to move to the southside. So that’s the plan. I’m tired of downtown living. Tired of dealing with mice and sketchy people wandering through the area. We’ve had so many break-ins, vandalism, mail theft – that it’s time for a change.

And so, that is where we are this Monday morning. Lots to do – and I hope to have some new Etsy products out this week too.

  1. Here I am drinking coffee at 7:35 PM. It is never too late for coffee ☕ As for goals, I wrote out some daily tasks and only accomplished one thing on the list. So far, I am failing and hope to catch up before I go to bed. I lose track of time very easily if I don’t have a list to refer to. Things this week are kinda up in the air because I don’t know what my schedule is yet.
