A few of you have asked to see some more photos from my travels over the years. I’ve decided to pull some pictures from a nature hike that I did in Edmonton back in 2010 when I got my first Nikon camera.
Be kind! While the images I captured are raw beauty, I didn’t know much about editing photos or how to size photos properly. These came out so small and if I try to enlarge them, they come out blurry. I have learned so much about photography since then. It’s a shame I didn’t get out this summer due to weather – our summer was so short as we had so many terrible rain storms!
I should really try and get out this week before the really cold weather arrives. It’s plus 11C today – and that’s just too cold for September. My heat is already turned back on and I’m at least toasty warm right now.
If you want to learn more about my travel adventures, or hikes – then head over to my travel page which I will update weekly.
River Valley, Edmonton 2010
“God’s Canvas” – the Valley sure is pretty
Nature’s Beauty – North Saskatchewan River
I remember this day so vividly. It was cloudy and chilly much like today was supposed to be. But I knew that I was running out of time to catch some amazing photos. Our River Valley is just so spectacular – it’s one of the reasons I still live here.
Isn’t fall an amazing time of year? There’s beauty everywhere you look.
