The week is flying by. It was a lazy day today. My ultrasound proved to be more painful than it should have been yesterday and I’m still experiencing some discomfort from it today. That’s not a good sign – at least not from my research. I need to stop using Dr. Google.
I should get my results in a few days – we have this new nifty program we can look up our own results, if doctors plug in the results for us.
I woke up around 10:00 am and it’s a good thing I did because the phone rang. It was my appeals officer. We had a good chat.
She thinks I’ve been “slipping through the cracks” as in – the reason I keep getting denied isn’t my fault. The conversation left me with more hope than I’ve had in quite some time.
I spent the afternoon organizing my music files and working on some ideas for music lesson plans. This is why I never went into teaching. I could never organize my thoughts well enough to share with others.
Still have pretty good energy. I’m definitely working out tonight.
I’m still down a few pounds. Hoping for another 2 pound loss this week. I updated my medical journal with this information. Works out so far, to about a 18 pound loss since 2018. I just need to keep it off and work hard at it.
I think the new eating schedule is working. Here’s what I’ve been doing.
- Breakfast: bowl of cereal with milk (approx 200 calories) – between 10:00 am and 12:00
- Lunch: leftovers from the day before OR kale, raw veggies and some cheese (approx 500 calories). Between 1:00 – 3:00 pm.
- Dinner: home made foods only – I caved the other night. Usually between 500-600 calories. Between 5:00 and 8:00 pm.
- Snacks: sometimes I get really hungry later on in the evening, I’ll grab a handful of nuts or chew on some peanut butter. Or enjoy a nice fruit smoothie. Never later than 10:00 pm.
Fasting happens between 10:00 pm and 10:00 am the next morning. I try and hold out until noon, but today couldn’t do it. I had a small bowl of cereal at noon. Lunch was at 2:00 pm. And dinner will be around 6:00 pm.
I can’t seem to go more than 12-16 hours without getting hungry. I may need some more fulfilling foods and protein in those meal times. My sleeping schedule will impact when I eat. I was in bed last night by 10:30 pm. I didn’t have a nap at all… I was so tired and fell asleep by midnight.
Not sure why I couldn’t get up early, but this is a step in the right direction.
But.. I’m still losing and that’s the main thing. I think once I start exercising again I’ll start to lose more 🙂
Hope you’re having a fabulous day. It snowed a lot over night but the temp at least has warmed up!
