Took a break from cooking on the weekend. Sometimes I get lazy. Here’s a new recipe I cooked up tonight: Cooked kale and pork dumplings.

This is really lazy cooking. You can make your own dumplings but honestly, store bought ones are so cheap and delicious. I try new ones each week. These are pork and corn dumplings and they are delicious.
What you’ll need for lazy cooking:
- 1 pack of frozen dumplings (any flavour)
- 1 stock of fresh kale (about 2 cups)
- Seasoning: olive oil, sesame oil, salt, pepper, garlic
Cooking Instructions
Kale: remove the stocks and cut kale into pieces as shown on image above. Wash and dry the kale. Set the kale aside.
Using a skillet, heat up some olive oil and salt and pepper. Alternatively, you can toss in some onions and mushrooms to add a bit more punch. If using onions, cook until they turn brown.
Add in the dumplings and about 1/2 cup of water. Bring to a boil. When the dumplings are tender enough to poke a fork through them, add in the kale.
Kale cooks quickly and only needs a couple of minutes on medium heat to cook. As the leaves wilt, you can add your choice of spices and sauces. I added a tiny bit of sesame oil.

This whole process took about fifteen minutes and it tastes delicious.
Enjoy.
Yum! Sounds good!
