Monday Music: music for relaxation, sleep, study and “brain drain”

I’m new to the world of Spotify. I avoided it for many years because I didn’t agree with streaming services. But now – that I’m much older and wiser, I know that this is the way the music industry heading. And if you don’t jump on the bandwagon, you literally will get pushed off and run over.

Something I used to do a lot with Itunes, is create playlists for every mood. I would spend hours downloading and organizing music. Only to have Itunes crash or my Ipod fail to load the songs. It was so frustrating.

What I love about Spotify, is having the ability to create, edit and delete playlists with the simple press of a button.

This is a hobby. It’s my meditation – a way of unwinding at the end of the day. I also love the discover new artists feature and am constantly searching for lesser known artists to follow.

I’m learning to use programs like Canva, so – I’m looking forward to sharing these playlists with you. Check out my new ones below!

Here are five playlists to help you relax, meditate, sleep or study. Or if you just want to zone out and listen to music – these playlists are tailor made for you.

Nearly 400 songs and 24 hours of acoustic music.

Over 200 songs and 14 hours of music to help you get through what I call rainy day moods.

A work in progress – Ambient Moods hosts over 30 songs to help you relax, sleep or study.

Emotional Piano is a new playlist and I am still scouring Spotify for the best of indie piano music.

Sleep Music is a work in progress. A collection of some of my favorite music to fall asleep to.

As always, donations are greatly appreciated. Just click on the Simple Payment widget to the right if you’d like to help donate to keep this blog running. All the album art you see above was created by me using Canva and photos from the Pixabay library.

What kind of music do you enjoy listening to? Which of these lists will you be adding to your libraries? Let me know in the comments!
