Beef stew recipes

Happy Monday. It’s a snowy and cold day today. I spent the evening last night in the kitchen and whipped up a couple of loaves – one banana loaf, and one lemon-vanilla loaf. I love homemade loaf. Makes for a great snack – or breakfast. Just throw in a piece of the loaf in the microwave and add some butter.

I have a grocery delivery coming this afternoon. Tonight, I think I’ll be getting out the slow cooker and will be making a lovely stew. There’s just something about fall and winter cooking. I love using the slow cooker for soups, stews and chill.

For inspiration and recipes, I often turn to youtube. I have a few favorite chefs that I go to. I thought I’d share my favorite cooking channels with you today. I think I’m going to give Laura Vitale’s recipe a go today.

My mouth is already watering. But I hate those websites where bloggers give you their life story before finally giving in to the recipe – so, here you are! My favorite chefs and their beef stew recipes.

Laura in the Kitchen – Beef Stew

Gordon Ramsey’s Beef Stew with Mustard Dumplings

Gord Ramsey – the chef who teaches – is not the same guy who screams at people on his realty shows. Just watching him in his kitchen with his kids – makes my heart melt. I love his teaching videos.

Jamie Oliver – Jamie’s easy Slow-cooked Beef Stew

I love Jamie Oliver! His energy is contagious and he gets so excited when he’s teaching others how to cook. Some of his recipes are labour intensive – but this looks delicious.

Hilah Cooking – Vegetable Beef Stew

Hilah has been one of my favorite cooking channels for a long time. Sadly, Hilah hasn’t released any cooking videos in a while. She had a baby and well, that definitely changes life for people! But her channel is still live. Her recipes are easy to follow and her sense of humour makes her a delight to watch.

Hope you’ve enjoyed these recipes. What are your favorite cooking channels? What are your go to recipes on cold and wintery days? I just love cooking this time of year – it’s all about warmth and flavour.

Happy Cooking.
