Inspirational & Grief: In her eyes

For the past two years, I’ve been trying to put together an album for release on Spotify and Youtube. It’s finally finished. I was waiting and waiting, and putting it off until it sounded “perfect”. But I realized something last week that stopped me in my tracks.

Sometimes, imperfection is what makes art honest.

So, here is something I’ve worked on during the weekends for the past couple of years. It’s an instrumental album comprised of 7 piano compositions – all original music.

The inspiration behind the album? It’s all for my mum. Well, and dad too – but “In her eyes” was something I wrote just before my mum died and it’s a song that is special to me.

I’m still working on sound quality. The music is best listened to on Spotify with headphones. I plan on reworking the songs next year and perhaps adding some stringed instruments. But the good sounding stringed instruments – cost a lot of money. Like, hundreds to thousands of dollars.

So, if you want to continue to support this very expensive side hobby of mine – feel free to buy me a coffee. Scroll down to the very bottom of this page.

Or… please follow me on Spotify, Youtube and Itunes – and support my music by giving a listen. What do you say? It would sure make my day — if you shared it with your friends.

Remember Me (topic on youtube)

Music is my therapy. It’s something that relaxes me. It’s meditation. It’s cathartic. When words fail to express my emotions – music in the end, triumphs all else.

Thanks for being here with me.

And thanks to my mum who I sure miss this time of year. I love you.

  1. I really love it so much!
And, once it’s out on Spotify, I’ll definitely buy it and I will spread the word to my friends and family worldwide.
Sending so much of love to you!
    Keep it going girl! ❤️
